You are not going to have another 23rd of December 2009, so I hope you have made the best of this one. I am up to page 723 of War and Peace - so I have read fully a hundred pages. This is very pleasing. I have also had a pleasant telephone conversation with sanabituranima. And a woman from Kentucky came round to sing songs in French and Ukrainian. Apart from that, not a lot has happened today. But sometimes uneventful is good.
I am the only person in this house, and it feels so quiet. I am going to wrap a Christmas present up now.
